I know I have written to you in the past but now I think I know where I fit into your family tree of Fish Family.
I have been searching for Francis L Fish of Canada.
Francis L. Fish b abt 1871 near Windsor Canada his married Mary Magoon and they moved to Iowa and then to CA.
Francis L Fish b abt 1871 is the son of John Fish b. 1822 and Elizabeth Fox.
John Fish is the son of Abraham Fish and Phoebe Butts.
Abraham Fish is the son of Joseph Fish b 1767 in England and believe he came to NY married and then to Canada where he died in York Toronoto Canada.
I was wondering if you had any additional informaton on Joseph Fish of England who seems to be the immigrate.
What year did he immigrate and if known what ship.
Also, I was wondering if you had any additional informaton on John Fish b 1822 who married Elizabeth Fox.
I have checked the 1871 Census and do not find him I do not believe but do find a Elizabeth Fish showing that she is living in Ontario District Grant S or W
Sub District Tuscarora
There is also a note with her census stating that deaths in the rpeciding twelve months ending 2 April 1871
I wonder if this means that John Fish her husband died.
I will be happy to exchange informaton with you.
