Caleb Fish, Esq and Peleg Fish, Esq appear in the 1800 census of Scituate, RI. They might be brothers, as both are over 45 and are listed next to each other Caleb has perhaps three daughters, and Peleg has one dau (according to census). There is also Peleg Jr Esq with 2 sons and three dau and is betweeen 26-45 yrs of age as is his wife.
Does onyone have any additional information on this family?
Peleg Jr can be found in the 1810-1820-1830 census of RI, but the children do not fall into place and there are two Peleg Fish families in the 1820 census, one in Newport and one in Kent counties. Any help would be appreciated.
