Interesting information, I didn't realize that a Massachusetts FISH went to Nova Scotia. I'm descended from Thomas Fish, immigrant ancestor of the Rhode Island FISH's and his grandson, Jonathan FISH and his wife Michal RHODES and family were among the first grantees of Newport, Hants County, NS in 1761 when the British "imported" Planters (their name for colonists) after the expulsion of the Acadians (now called Cajuns) to French Louisiana and Carribean Islands. Just thought you might like to know some of the early history of that region.
