Cousin Laini -

Just discovered your reply (Oct '99) to Shirley Karle. You and I are related. Your Jane and my George are sister and brother. I, too, was floored to find that out my ancestors go back to 1475!

Don't know if Shirley's George and our's are related or not; so many years between the births of William and George that maybe a generation has been missed.

Most of George's decendants stayed in the Chemung County area. Visited his gravesite when I was back home this summer. If you're interested in any of the off-shoots of your line, I have some from my direct line of George. I'm trying to fill in decendants of brothers and sisters and yours has been of great help. If you'd like what little I have, I'm more than willing to share it with you.

I'm still trying to find Amanda's ancestors, but have only found her father, Isaac, so far. I'm sure they must be early settlers of the area after the Revolution, as are my husband's relatives. I see that you've posted messages about Baldwins, but I haven't checked that out yet. You may hear from me again. This whole thing is truly mind-boggling!!

I'm not very computer literate about sending out programs, but I hope to hear from you.

Gloria Kelley
