If this is the Josiah Fish that married Elizabeth Hazelton (or Hazeltine)in 1774,(he was also married to a "Zeruiah" Fish), I am a direct descendant and I have the line down from Capt. Josiah to me , as well as some offshoots. He was reportedly born in Mendon, Mass. but there is no record of his birth there, and he was also supposedly from Vermont. I've been looking for his birth record and place as well as the name of his parents. Where was he born and where were his parents married? be glad to share info with you
