Dear Alan

I'm new to this site and have decided to start tracing my lineage back, and I'm hoping you may be able to help as my first point of call.

Looking at the dates and locality, I'm wondering if it is possible that the William Firth reffered to above is my Grandfathers uncle.

My grandfather was born in Pontefract W. Yorks on the 9th November 1920, Kenneth Firth is his name. He had a younger brother, Ron Firth born I think in 1924.

I'm wondering if your William had any brothers that could possibly be my Grandfather's Father? My gradfather recently passed away (in 2002) and whilst he was alive was always very reluctant to share in his past and family history owing to a reputeded family fued?

I appreciate any help that you might be able to provide me.

Many thanks,

Robert Firth
Buckinghamshire
