Does anyone know anything of Joseph Henry Firth, born about 1860-70, of Langdale, Burley-in-Wharfedale. He had a brother called William and sisters called Sarah (m.James Galloway), Elizabeth (m.Joseph Jennings) and Mary (m.Joseph Eastwood). His parents were William and Sarah Firth of Stanningley, Leeds and all I know about them apart from their address (Springfield Place, Stanningley)is that William was a councillor and died in 1882. Joseph Henry married Sarah and his children were called Arthur (1899-1917), Philip (drowned in Sydney Harbour), Jane (known as Jenny, m.Richard Higgins) and Dorothy (19.09.1902-1979 m.Gathorne Barrow) and his address in 1915 was Ambleside Ave, Bradford.
