Often in Canadian records, FIRMAN and FAIRMAN seem almost interchangeable. There were fairly early FAIRMANS in Percy Tp. Northumberland Co ON, and a larger group in Thurlow Tp., Hastings Co ON, north of Belleville,(of which a branch or two moved to Sophiasburgh Tp, Prince Edward Co. ON). Earliest FAIRMAN I have found is John FAIRMAN Sr. of Thurlow, (a Loyalist). Can't say much about your Anginette, as a) the first name is new to me, and b) Ontario is rather large, so a more definite location would be helpful.
