I am trying to locate Firman family from Dovercourt, Essex. Here is what I have: Edna Firman, b. 5/22/1903 (my husband's grandmother). Edna was one of 10 Firman children. Other names of children are as follows: Winnifred, Olive, Ida, Ivy, Florence (Floss), Christine. There were two (or more) boys that died at very young age, perhaps one of them is your Francis John Firman? There may be some relation anyway. I have gathered the above information from a one of Edna's daughters, June. Edna had three children with Walter William Brazier, though they did not marry. Janet, June and David (my husband's father). I will try to get more from Janet and June (David passed away about 13 years ago).
I am in the states (CA) and not able to do much research. Let me know if any of this may tie in to your info.
