I am a ggrandson of John Davis' brother Oliver A. Davis of Warsaw and Sedalia, MO. John and Emma are buried with their son Shird in the Christian Cemetery near Windsor, MO. She may have been called Flora as a nickname so Florence may be her correct middle name.
The info I have about Emma: b. 22 Apr 1859 in Waynesboro, OH, and died 14 Dec 1939 in Sedalia, MO. Married John Davis of Ada, OH. John's info: b. 19 Feb 1853 and d. 12 Dec 1915 in Ionia, MO.
Children: Edith Elizabeth, Sherman Edward "Shird", Myrtle Vietta, John Alvin, Malysa Luella, Charles Emmett, Marion Calvin, George Franklin, Oliver Dell (1891-1924, and Jesse Lee.
I have a photo of John with his brother Oliver, their sisters and mother Elizabeth Ann Wingate.
