My great great grandfahter was born in Belmount County Ohio. He had a brother named John born around 1814 in Ohio. JOhn and Jacob(my 2nd great grandfather) parents were Nancy Still and John Crosbey Phipps were married Dec 1813 in Jefferson County OHio .
Nancy and John divorced and Nancy remarried a Homes. I know Jacob and Anna Bush Fipps lived in Loraine County in the 1840's.
They changed their name after the Divorce so that she can say that she was a widow and not divorced.
Jacob went to live in Jackson county Indian and the moved on to Dent County Missouri. Anna died in 1866. He married twice more and He died in Enid OK.
We are still looking for Jacobs brother John.
