Very interesting Alex.

There has been no previous mention of any close relationship between Emma & George IV, but it wouldnt surprise me. Could be the reason he took interest & looked after the two sons so well.

I am, according to my FTM data file, the 2nd Great Grandnephew of Emma. I have no information of Horace & Emma's children & descendants.
Would be great to get detail of your family tree to add to my Family Tree Maker.

I have been able to find some information on George Thurles Finucane but zero on his Brother Frederick Finucane. If you have any information on him I'd be delighted.

You may know that George Thurles Finucane, according to info on the Web was married to a Mary Pogano. I havnt been able to substantiate that anywhere else, but where I live in Brisbane, Australia, one of Georges sons, William Eugene, has a Diary kept in pristine condition in the John Oxley Library. In it it shows that his mother was a Rosina Caroline Fonblanque! There was no mention of Mary.
As George was in the British garrison in Corfu I tried to get information from one of the churches there but with no luck.

Look forward to hear more.

Kind regards
Keith (Tony) Ashworth
