I am doing research on my grandmother, Mary Finucane Wheeler, who emigrated in 1888 to New York/New Jersey. I don't have the 1900 census from Jersey City, NJ in front of me, but she's listed there along with a Margaret Finucane who's in her 60's and some younger boys in their teens. I was wondering if you have any family members who came to the US in 1888? Also the connection between the Keanes and Finucanes interests me because on a genealogy list developed by my father he lists his great grandmother as being a Keane. I'm going to the National Archives soon to track down ship's records and my grandmother's death certificate from New Jersey. Because Mary Finucane Wheeler died in 1902 when my father was 10, I have little data to base research on. Thanks for any help you might give.
