Will be happy to get a copy of both diaries to you. Let me know your postal address.
They both came from John Oxley originally, I also will enclose a cutting of the newspaper when they were first found.
The diary of William Eugene is very detailed, he even describes his wifes wedding dress, also there was a huge court case over a block of land, you probably have all this anyway.
I am glad to find someone from his family, seems such a waste as he was obviously a well known identity in Ipswich and Burketown.
