I also have interest in Finnies originating in Scotland and immigrating to the Ontario area. My Great-Grandmother was Jennie Finnie, born Dec. 18, 1850 in the Toronto area. Her father was John Finnie, from Scotland. John and his wife, Mary, had two other children, dates of birth unknown. They were Mattie, a girl, and John a son. I would sure love to learn more about this family. I hope to hear from someone.
