The 1870 census for Millbrook, Kendall Co., IL shows what looks like a Thomas Finnie 61 and wife Mary 54. He is from Scotland.
Living with them is Sarah Canham age 50. Sarah is from Sandwich IL where she married Wm Canham who died 1869. Her maiden name was Shaver, She had a brother Henry and maybe others. Henry was born in OH and Sarah was born in NY.
Does anyone know the maiden name of Mary Finnie? Are they related to Sarah?
