OK, I'll post again here, still can't find out anything yet, the proverbial "brick wall". My ggrandmother was Annie Finnie, married to Charlie, or Charles William, or C.W. McCluskey, circa 1895. In order for the two to get married, their mothers had to sign for them. C.W.'s mother wrote the note, Paralee or Paralea McCluskey, and Annie's mother signed, Mary Finnie. This all took place in Lawrence County, AR. C.W. and Annie moved to Pocohontas, Randolph County, AR, by 1900. Annie died young, and C.W. remarried Julia Ford-Barham-Campbell. All I know of Annie, is that her name could have been Sarah Ann, that rumor has it she was born in White County, IL, and she had a brother, who was killed by falling or being thrown from a horse. I am SOOOOOO stuck here!
