Thank you so much for your reply. Through your information and especially that of Wendy McCullough I was able to trace my family tree back to my great great great great grandparents. The James Finnie (1815 to 1889) listed in your family tree was a brother of my great great grandfather, John Finnie who moved from Scotland to Hope Township in Ontario (near Peterborough Ontario) and then to Downie Township (near St. Mary's Ontario). I can provide you with further information if you would like. I also have an old family photo that you might like a copy of.
