Further information about Clyde and his family can be found in the United States Census on Ancestry.com or elsewhere.

Searching for Clyde Finnicum in the 1930 U.S. Census yields an image on page 3B of microfilm roll 1821. This information from April 22, 1930 was about people living in Anchor Township, Harrison County, Ohio. In family number 70 were:

Elmer E. Finnicum was the head of the household. He owned the home rather than renting it. He was Male, White, 42 years old and married 21 years. He did not attend school that year; he could read and write. He and both of his parents were born in Ohio. He was a “Laborer” on the “State Highway”.

Blanche E Finnicum was the wife of the household head. She was Female, White, 31 years old and married 21 years. She did not attend school that year; she could read and write. She and both of her parents were born in Ohio. Her occupation was “none”.

Harold E Finnicum was the son of the head. He was Male, White, 17 years old and single. He did not attend school that year; he could read and write. He and both of his parents were born in Ohio. He was a “Laborer” at “Odd Jobs”.

Freda A Finnicum was the daughter of the head. She was Female, White, 17 years old and single. She did attend school that year. She and both of her parents were born in Ohio. Her occupation was “none”.

Clyde Finnicum was the son of the head. He was Male, White, 5 years old and single. He did not attend school that year. He and both of his parents were born in Ohio. His occupation was “none”.

Searching for Elmer Finnicum in the 1900 U.S. Census yields an image about people living in Anchor Township, Harrison County, Ohio. In house number 64 and family number 64 were:

Amos W Finicum was the Head of the household. He was White, Male, born Dec 1848, age 51, and Married 28 years. He was born in Ohio; his father was born in Ohio; his mother was born in Pennsylvania. His occupation was “Farmer”.

Sarah A Finicum was the Wife of the head. She was White, Female, born Oct 1851, age 48, and Married 28 years. She was born in Ohio; her father was born in Ohio; her mother was born in Ohio.

Joseph A Finicum was Son of the head of household. He was White, Male, born Sept 1875, age 24, and Single. He was born in Ohio; his father was born in Ohio; his mother was born in Ohio. His occupation was “Farm Labor”.
