FINNEY, farmer, post office ELIZABETH, is a son of WILLIAM and LUCINDA (NICHOLLS) FINNEY. His grandfather, ROBERT FINNEY, settled in Elizabeth township at a very early date. JAMES was educated in Elizabeth township, where he resided until 1877, when he moved to Forward Twp. He married, Dec. 30, 1868, MARY E., daughter of JAMES WALL.
