Hi people, I know this is taking us away from the original message but I saw the name Roger Finnerty posted by Patty. You know, as a Finnerty speaking, its not such a common surname but then when you get a name like Roger its even more uncommon.the reason i´m writing this is that on the Irish 1901 census i found a Roger Finnerty, could be related to you Patty. He was living in the townland of Carn, Parish of Moygawnagh, Barony of Tirawley.roger was a farmer and a widower. His age was given as 57 but believe me never go by ages on census or civil records, best ones baptismal. He is listed as of the 31st march 1901 as living with, Patrick 23 son, Kate 22 dtr, Mary anne 19 dtr, Michgael 18 son, Ellen 14 dtr, Roger 13 son also Patrick Burke a stock farmer visitor.hope this can help somebody.
