Hi to all the Finegans out there i have been trying to find my Finnegan family from County Monaghan Ireland for some time now, but have seem to have come to a dead end,
this is what i have so far:
great grand father Patrick Finnegan married Kathleen Green,
they had a least two children that i know of possibly more.
my grand father Owen Joseph Finnegan born 1880 BALLYTRAIN, a village, in the parish of AUGHNAMULLEN, barony of CREMORNE, county of MONAGHAN,
his brother Peter born Carrikmacross around 1885 was discharged from the army 1915 as being unfit he was 32 years old the return address he gave was James Street Carrikmacross Co Monaghan
Owen married Mary Lyons and they had two children:
Thomas 1907
Margaret 1911 Ardee louth
Owen remarried in 1915 in dublin to margaret Farrell.
they had two children
Kathellen 1920 and patrick 1922 both born in Glasgow.
Owen died in 1960 in Dublin his neice registered his death her name was Agness Squires.
i have no idea what happened to Margaret born 1911 or Mary his first wife.
Thomas lived in Larne and had several children.
