Paxton Record, April 21, 1903:
Wed. morning April 15 at 9 o'clock in St. Patrick's Church in Dwight, occurred the marriage of Miss BESSIE FINNEGAN, an accomplished young lady of Dwight, to Mr. M. W. SCHUMACHER, a prominent business man of this city. Rev. Father Egan performed the beautiful ceremony which made them man and wife. The bride and groom were attended by Miss LIZZIE FINNEGAN, sister of the former, and JOHN SCHUMACHER, brother of the groom. After the ceremony a reception was given them at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Finnegan, parents of the bride, where the immediate relatives partook of an elaborate wedding feast. The newly married couple will spend a week in Chicago before returning to their new home in Cabery. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Finnegan of near Dwight.
