Generation No. 1
1.Mary2 Finnegan(Michael1) (Source: Death Certificate, According to Reviewed Death Certificate of daug. of Mary, Maggie-Margaret Farrell.) was born April 1849 in Ireland, and died January 19, 1888 in Wrightstown, Brown County, Wisconsin. She married Michael Farrell Abt. 1868 in Arthur, Ontario, Canada, son of Patrick Farrell and Margaret English. He was born February 08, 1844 in Ireland, and died November 01, 1920 in Wrightstown, Brown County, Wisconsin, USA.
Notes for Mary Finnegan:
Mary is buried at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Wrightstown, Brown Co.Wisconsin. She and Michael Farrell were married in Arthur, Canada and immigrated to Wisconsin in 1872 along with 4 year old James. Her father is maybe Michael Finnegan. I believe they came to Wrightstown because her family came ahead of them. There are several Finnegan families in Wrightstown and Hollandtown, WI. Michael Farrell is the only one of his family to move to Wrightstown.

Notes for Michael Farrell:
Immigration:
-The 1910 Census shows it as 1871 for Michael and 1887 for 2nd wife Margaret.
-The 1900 Census-the Census page is blacked out at bottom of page so I can't see the names exactly. On second page it shows the page starting with Agnes Farrell so the page before ends with Farrells Head, wife and three more children, plus Agnes, Lilly and William on next page. According to Pete Farrell they lost their sons to the epidemic in a matter of 10 days, their ages from 1 - 5 years old. Their daug. Lillian is the only one to survive. Agnes is the youngest of Michael and Mary's children.
-Peter Farrell's autobiography states that his father James came to US with parents when he was 4 years old which would put immigration for all at approx. 1872/73.
-1920 Census shows James immigrating in 1972 and being naturalized in 1890.
-If Mary was born in 1849 then that would put her immigrating with Michael at the age 23 if they immigrated in 1872 and approx 18 or 19 when they were married in Canada.Peter said they all came together from Canada.
-Checked Wrightstown Census for 1880 - not there.
According to Peter Farrell, Mike and Margaret retired from farming land near Wrightstown to live in a home on the river near the bridge in Wrightstown.
