She married Robert Shaw and give birth to 2 sons by him, the older being also named Robert Shaw, born in Canada 26 November 1887, and the younger whose name may be Harrie or Harry, born 1890 or 1891 in Canada.Nellie and her two sons immigrated to the U.S. in 1892.
Nellie married Timothy D. Finn, probably in the latter part of 1892 or possibly early 1893.He was born in Illinois in October 1866 to Irish-born parents.
Nellie gave birth in Washington State, probably all in Seattle, to William or “Willie” in June 1893, Timothy Noonan on 4 Nov 1894, Frank McKinley on 22 Oct 1896, Katharine in January 1899, possibly Howard between 1900 and 1904, Nellie L. in 1904 or 1905, and Charles Kennedy on 27 June 1907.
Nellie, Timothy Finn, Timothy Finn’s two stepsons, and his 4 children were residing in the Duwamish census precinct, probably just south or SE of Seattle, at the time of the census in June 1900.Timothy Finn’s occupation was “county jailer” at that time.
Nellie reportedly died in an “insane asylum” in Washington state, but he place and date are not known.
Nellie's husband, Timothy D. Finn, was living in the Fargo census precinct of Canyon County, Idaho in April 1910 and apparently told the census taker at that time that he was widowed. He was a farm worker at that time.He was remarried in Caldwell, Canyon County, ID on 6 Mar 1915 to Margaret E. Hyde (Hyde being a married name), who was born 6 August 1877 in Iowa.He died in 1947 and is buried in Caldwell.Margaret E. Finn died on 12 May 1963 in Malheur Co., Oregon, and is also buried in Caldwell, Idaho.

Frank McKinley Finn died in Seattle on 1 March 1939 and is buried at Washelli Cemetery in Seattle.He had worked as an iron molder at a foundry in Seattle from 1926-37, but was residing in Wenatchee just prior to his death.He had married Carrie Cotham in Caldwell, Idaho on 12 April 1924.They were divorced a year or two before he died.
Robert Shaw died in Seattle on 5 December 1968, having married Susan Boles Scheuer.Before his retirement, he had been a foreman at Olympic Foundry Co., in Seattle.
Charles Kennedy Finn died 20 February 1966, while residing in Seattle.He had married Hattie Belle Travis in Wilder, Canyon Co., ID on 7 January 1927.She was born 31 July 1905 and died in March 1985.Charles K. Finn was also employed at Olympic Iron Foundry.
