Looking for the b. & d. dates of Elias Vance Finlayson, son of Murdoch Uriah Finlayson. He was born in NC and family moved to Cheraw, SC area. He owned E.V. Finlayson MFG Company in Charlotte. He died in Cheraw under the care of my grandmother. IT is my understanding that he had two daughters Mildred Finlayson and Susanne Finlayson who both married men in Detroit (I think).
