I am trying to help a friend who is very ill to find out about his family. He has very limited information as follows
John Finlayson, born 5/17/1840 on board a ship(??) from Scotland to Canada. He took Canadian citizenship in the town of Ormstrom. His first wife Dona L. Hall was born 1863 died 6/26/1884 and is burided in Palmer Cemetary in Dickinson Center, NY His second wife was ???? Mckenna of St Regis Falls, Ny His third wife was Cammie Smith born 4/7/1867 to joseph and lucy Smith was one of nine children. John & Cammie were married 6/5/1886 she died 8/22/1942 he died in 1921 they are burided in Sand Hill Cemetary in Dickenson center, NY. Ther wer 10 children born of this marriage.
1. Lulu Lenora b-5/24/1886 m. William Trim 5/24,1905and died 6/18/1981 they had 5 chldren including twin girls.
2. Isabel May b. 1/14/1889 in Dickenson Center Ny M. Ronald Lee 7/22/1914 d. 3/24/584 children Arleigh, Allen, Phyliss,and Alice
3. Donald Mcrae b. 10/23/1892
4. Katie Jennifer b 12/1/1894
5. Bessie Denise b 5/3/1898
6. Lowessa Myrtle b 4/12/1900
7. John Clayton b 2/25/1903
8. Arleigh Lynn b 12/4/1907
9. Jennie B. b. 4/9/1909
10. Carmen Fern b 4/8/1912
