My Grandfather, Charles Finlayson and his brothers Jimmy, George and Andy all came from Glasgow. Charles married Mary Mackie from Fisher Branch, Manitoba and lived in Winnipeg area while working for the CNR. His children were Charles, George, Leonard (my father), John, Mildred, Thelma and Jessie. They all lived in the Winnipeg area. My brother Dennis and I were born in Winnipeg and lived there for 20 plus years before moving to Seattle. Jimmy and George Finlayson moved to California while Andy moved to Vancouver. Do you have any connections to any of these Finlayson. Let me know as I found the Winnipeg connection interesting.
