I am researching greatgrandparents Rev. Jesse Laverne Finley, b. 10/29/1869 in MO and his wife Frances Stubblefield b. 9/6/1882. both died in Patton, MO. Jesse's father was Dr. Lovin Postalwaite Finley. I believe Postalwaite was his mother's last name. Frances parents were Burl Stubblefield and Mary Woods. Mary is supposed to be of Cherokee indian descent. I have no information any father back. Burl Stubblefield, Mary Woods and Dr. Lovin Postalwaite Finley were all born in MO as far as I know, but that isn't for sure. They resides in Washington, Jefferson and Iron, ST> Francois Co. Mo. birth circa 1840-1850. Any help is greatly appreciated.
