I am searching for the first husband of Sarah Wray b. ca 1905 in Canada and father of William J. Finlay b. 1923 in Canada. The infomation we have is sketchy at best. She married Albert Church in 1926 and William J. grew up believing he was William J. CHURCH. He only knew the truth when he decided to join the military. Sarah's mother is found living with her and Albert - listed on the census as Nina/Mina. Her father is nowhere to be found. Sarah has two brothers, Bruce and Alex and a sister named May - also found on the census living with Sarah and Albert.
I may have found the parents of Sarah in Mountainview, but haven't been able to prove it yet, just a "maybe" right now. Joseph H. and Vina Wray - as I've said, no proof of parentage yet, but I am working on it.
If anyone has anthing that may help me I'd appreciate it. I am willing to share what little I have as well. Thanks
