I just want to correct the original posting. The David Finlay in the first posting was born in Ontario. I am seeking information on his father also David Finlay, born in Co. Cavan in 1804. Also his wife Susannah Wallace born Co.Donegal in 1813. They were both baptists and appeared in Ontario in the 1840's.
