I am Looking for data on John Finlay who married Ellen or Hellen Grogan either in Ireland, Scotland, Nova Scotia, or New Brunswick circa 1810. They resided at one time near Miramichi Bay (Chatham area) in New Brunswick. They had many children including my great grandfather Michael Finlay who married Ursule Michel in St. Patrick Quebec in 1878. John and Ellen may have died in Arthabaska County Quebec between 1820 and 1900. It is interesting to note that their surname appears as both "Finley" and "Finlay."
