What can you tell me / us about Harry Nelson. I find it very interesting . I'm a Nelson. My grandfather, his father and I believe his fathers father were all born in FI. Not sure about all but my grandfather was born in Kivijarvi.
His name was Alfred, he immigrated to MA and on Sept 1908 married my grandmother also born in Kivijarvi. Her name was Sylvia Maria Pisspanen. Feb 17 1888.Her parents were Lauri Piispanen and Karoline Kinnunen. She was 2nd youngest of several(7 in all I think) children. Lauri had 2 children by previous marriage to Karoline's cousin.
I'd love to learn about my grandfathers family. Thinking that perhaps he was a cousin etc to my family. I don't see to many Nelson's from Finland.
