Im am looking for information to get me past my road block with my finnish ancestors.
starting with my great grandmother Jennie W. Kangas born 11 Nov 1907 in Montville, OH died 18 Jan 1989 in Madison, OH.
Jennie's father Herman Kangas born 1872 died 18 Jul 1947, no other information is known.
Jennie's mother was Mina (Wilhelmina?) Ritari, no other information is known.
When Mina passed away Herman married Kaisa Liisa Ranta, again, no other information is known.
Jennie married John H. Concoby on 17 Aug 1927. John was born 07 Aug 1904 in Lake County, OH and died 02 Jan 1979 in Fairport Harbor, OH
Johns father was Elias M. Concoby from Lappajarvi, Vaasa, Finland (from what i could find this is where he was from) Elias was born 24 Nov 1860 in Finland and died 07 Jan 1939 in Fairport Harbor, OH. I believe the original spelling of Concoby was Kankaanpaa and it was changed to Concoby when he moved to the USA. This is what my grandmother told me anyway.
John's mother was Elizabeth Uirsula born 1863 (location unknown) and died Oct 1927 in Painesville, OH.
This is the only information I have on them so if you have any information at all, that may be my big break. Thanks in advance for all your help.
