I am still trying to learn about Lauri Piispanen's 3rd wife.
Heer name was Susan Larson. When she married Lauri Piispanen she had a son John that was aproximately 20 years old.
I don't know a thing about Susan. Lauri on the other hand, was my great grandfather. He had been married twice prior to Susan. First to Eva Kinnunen, and after she died he marrid Karoline Kinnunen who was my great grandmother.
I know that Susan and Lauri came to America, settled in West Quincy MA. and the Lauri's children(all but one of Eva 's two)came over as well. My grandmother was Sylvia Maria piispanen, and she married Alfred Nelson.
As best I can tell now all were from Kivijarvi Finland.
Here its Susan I'd like to focus on. Who were her parents, did she have sibblings.? Was she married prior to Lauri, or was John illegitamate,.
Lauri and Susan immigrated around 1890ish. All the children were here by 1900.
I don't even know if Susan was Finnish, Sweedish, or maybe even Norweign? Any ideas how I can determine this, and find the information I'm searching for.
Any and all help concerning Susan would be very much appreciated. I have quite a bit of the rest of the family except Susan and her son John. I just can't find any answers about them, or learn a thing about their lives before immigrating. How did Susan meet Lauri and where etc.
