How to write vowels properly in Finnish

I know I've seen the answer to this question, somewhere on this forum, but for the life of me I can't find it.

Would someone please tell me how to writa the vowels both in capital, and small case letters a e i o u.

What keys do you hold etc. I know I'm doing something wrong because I've tried and haven't been able to get anywere.
