I wonder if anyone out there knows of anyone names Bjorkholm? I'm not even sure its a Finnish name, but since he was apparently a friend of my father/his parents. and they were Finnish. I'm taking a chance, that maybe just maybe someone will know a male with that name.
The person I'm referring to I am sure is deceased by now.
He was a pallbearer at my fathers funeral, and that was in Quincy MA, back in Nov of 1952.
My fathers name was Arvo Alfred Nelson. His friends call him "Al". Dad worked for Stone & Webster Enginering co in Boston, prior to his death- as a civil engineer. His parents were Alfred and Sylvia(Piispanen) Nelson.
Alfred and Sylvia had both been born in Kivijarvi, Finland. Arvo in Quincy Feb 18, 1909.

Dad was an only child. He lived in Quincy, until he marrid my mother Margaret (Bradley) of Salem Ma. in April of 1939.
Their mutual friend Richard Murphy had introduced them, when mom was working at RMV, and dad and Dick at DPW, in the same bldg. in Boston.
