Thank you so very much Electra. I apologize that I didn't include all the information I have about Bertil. I too have thoroughly searched Hiski, but the information you sent is on the wrong person. Here is what I have on Bertill as given to me by the Ylivieska Parish:
Birth: 12.7.1775 Alavieska (I can't find this in Hiski or on microfilm! I believe this is wrong!)
Death: 16.9.1854 Ylivieska
Married: 3.12.1807 Ylivieska
Wife: Beatha Jakobsdotter Niemelä
Birth: 30.4.1788 Ylivieska
Death: 13.9.1866 Ylivieska
Parents: Jakko Matinpoika Niemelä (1760-1823 and Kaisa Pekantytär Kontio (1761-1828)
Children: (I have all the information on his children and great-grandchildren)
Eva Saarela b. 16.1.1809 Ylivieska
Elisabeth Saarela b. 31.5.1810 Ylivieska
Jaakko Saarela b. 17.2.1812 Ylivieska
Bartholomeus Saarela b. 3.7.1814 Ylivieska
Beata Saarela b. 6.7.1817 Ylivieska
