Thank you very much for your answer Keittää!
I already checked the Finnish Migration Institute and the information I have is from there. Jaakko went on 4.4.1893 to Ashtabula Ohio and others from the village who came back said that he died in the harbour by accident, that is all we know. Maybe the fact that he is not listed in censuses is a confirmation in itself that he died as he started to work in the harbour. He was not supposed to emigrate but earn money and come back to his wife and four children.
His fathers name was Matti Henrikinpoika b. 18.1.1819 Isokyrö if it helps you further. I have already found all the ancestors of this family line to the beg. of 1700 and at last I`d like to find out the date of my ggrandfathers death so there wouldn`t be any doubts of his whereabouts.
I will check the two other addresses you gave me, again thank you so much for the information,
best regards
Liisa S
