yes, the Torikka name should be stone dead today.... as far as I know there are only one person still alive, Arthur Torikka Jr, and I believe - at least that was a fact back in 1981 when I was travelling arround the US - he lived somewhere in the Washington DC area.
I think I have to get that book by Ilmonen!
I have another difficult querry about a sister to mu grandfather's grandfather's father, Greta Isaksdotter, b in Finland 1838, married in 1858 to Isak Isaksson Rova, swedish born, emigrated to the US in 1865. Last information is that she was living as a widdow in the Chicago area in december 1877.
