Johan Ahlqvist and Lisa Johansdr .
Where did they come from?
Lohtaja parish records says that Johan was born September 8, 1756 and Lisa / Elisabeth was born June 28, 1758.
I can not find people with the same name born on the very same date in this parish , but someone very close .
Detecting a person Eliasabetha Johansdr Hafala from Kerho , Lohtaja born June 22, 1758
This must be the same person as May 23, 1779 marries «Vargernings karlen »
(A type of soldier ?) Johan Johanson Kero
This Johan will probably be the person who is listed born September 3, 1756 as the son of Johan Henricsson Kero and Margeta Matsdr .
It is tempting to conclude that this couple must be the same people as the couple Lisa and Johan Ahlqvist .
DATE OF BIRTH .
The first " hurdle " for such a conclusion is that birth dates are not quite right (but within a week ) . Yet I see from other people that birth dates are changed somewhat during their lifespan.
The second " hurdle " for such a conclusion is family name Ahlqvist .
Can a person start using such a swedish family name when he became a soldier?
Or is it likely/certain that his father used this name?
Have tried to find traces of this family name with Johan Henricsson in Lohtaja , but with negative results .
However, I find a married man Johan Ahlqvist in Lohtaja, as July 9, 1788 , after what I interpret, died of starvation, 55 years old.
He was a discharged soldier.
He seems to have been married two times , first October 22, 1756 and since October 13, 1768 .
He has a son Johannes with the first wife Beata Larsdr March 16, 1764 .
This is 8 years later than my " Johan Ahlqvist " and that makes this child to a minor candidate ? ?
It also appears that he died as a child , since he is not mentioned in this overview of the family.
Extended search by HISKI for the whole Finland, does not give any likely candidates for me.
Grateful for advice and ideas on how to conclude on this issue, as I now have no good ideas for further work.
