Two Piispanens came to MA in late 1880-1900 time frame

I am looking for any information on Lauri Piispanen.
He was born in Kivijarvi Finland, to Elias and Ebba Piispanen. I believe he may have had two sibblings that died quite young.
Lauri married Eva Kinnunen and had two children Werna(Verna) and Juho(john) after she died I think in 1861, he married later that year, her cousin Karoline, and had several more children all of whom came to MA before 1900.(including my grandmother Sylvia)
Lauri came to US alone on the SS Californa(n) in the early mid 1880's, and settled in Quincy MA where he remained until his death. Never remarried (at least that is the information my family and Ihave now determined to be true, however we are still looking for written confirmation of our theory.

Some earlier inf we have gotten says he came here with his wife of 12 years Susan Larson. That wouldn't compute as his wife in Finland(Karoline) was still alive back there. and Susan had a son John Larson I think from a previous marriage. I think she was married to the other Louis Piisapnen that may have also come to MA(no relation to us as best any of us can tell)

Sorry to be so long winded. If anyone has any information that can confirm our theories please let us know.=-= here.

Thank you
Larry N
