I am the granddaughter of Juho Emil Huhta and Saima Maki Huhta. Do you have information about my grandfathers family? We know more about the Maki's than we do the Huhta family. Was the name changed from Hautala, or is Huhta in Finnish Oikari? I have found a picture from my grandmothers belongs that is a cemetary. Both of these names appear in the photo. My Aunt Esther had an envelope with the name Esko Hautala, in Lapua written on it.

My grandfather came to North America on the Saturina from Glasgow in 1913 and my grandmother and aunt Esther came to NY on the Bergenfjord from Kristiania in 1917.
