Hi-
A little while back, I came across a newspaper article in regards to a Finnish man trying to marry a "white" girl in, I believe, Wisconsin, or in that general direction. Her father was absolutely irate about him daring to even think it, because he was not of their kind, and went public, I think even as far as taking it to court? I also THINK I found it on the Hiski project then, but since have not found it, and I've tried using the search engines to look, but nothing. Can someone help me in locating it? It doesn't have to be that exact scenario, it could be other articles in regards to the Finns having trouble with their "White race" in America, about the 1800's, perhaps 1900's.
Thanks!
