Finkles of NY-Ontario, Canada, MI 1800's

I am looking for any information regarding the George Finkle family who moved from Troy, NY to Sidney, Ontario, Canada. I know that my Great grandfather was George Samuel Finkle born in 1858 in Rawdon(Roden), Ontario, Canada from a delayed Birth Certificate of my Grandfather's. We believe that his G.S. Finkle's father's name was Charles Ransom Finkle, but on a Family Tree Maker CD he is listed as Ransom Charles. What I am trying to find out is who was G.S. Finkle's mother (we believe her to be Maria J. Simmons) and anything about either the Simmons, or the Finkles. Apparently the branch of the Finkles were loyalists during the Revolutionary War, and some of the family moved up to Canada and the branch I am related to moved up at the end of the war.
G.S. Finkle moved to Dodge City, KS and met and married his wife, Mary Ann Elliott in Pontiac, MI, in 1886 and they moved to Dodge City, KS where G.S. worked for the Railroad. Does any one know anything about these Finkles? I would love to know more about them if you do. Thanks, Barbara
