I have information about the Finke family in Collinsville, Illinois, but I do not have a reference to Christine Finke on my family tree. Herman Finke (b. February 25, 1844 d. July 26, 1885) was the son of my grandfather's grandfather George August Finke from his marriage to Louise Carolina Mahn. Herman Finke married Augusta Knoebel and had two children, Anna and Herman. Herman Finke was a blacksmith and carriage maker in Collinsville, Illinois and later lived on a farm in Missouri. August Finke (b. February 5, 1846 d. February 2, 1910) was also the son of George August Finke from his marriage to Louise Carolina Mahn. August Finke married a woman named Sophia and had two children, George and Herman. August Finke was a druggist who lived in Collinsville, Illinois and later moved to St. Louis. Richard Finke (b. December 19, 1847 d. 1935) was also the son of George August Finke from his marriage to Louise Carolina Mahn. Richard Finke was married to Sophia Knoebel and had four children: Hattie (b. 1878), Richard (b. 1887), Louis (b. 1889) and Bertha (b. 1892). Richard was a druggist who lived in Collinsville, Illinois, Lamar, Missouri and Miami, Oklahoma. I do not have any reference to Christine Finke born in 1886, but would be interested if you discover any information. Robert W. Finke rfinke@optonline.net Notify Administrator about this message?
