Catherine Finger and Henry Shupe's son, John, married Lucy Ferguson, and they had several children, one of whom, Andrew Jackson Shupe, I am descended from. My branch migrated from Virginia through Tennessee and into Texas by 1890. Peter Shupe's family became Mormans and his children marched with the Morman Batallion into Salt Lake City. This family has been extensively researched by the LDS, and they have a lot of information in their Ancestral File. Would love to exchange info.
