I was in the library researching the other day and found in a book called "Palatine Mennonite Census Lists, 1664-1793" by Herman Guth the following Fingers: 1685 - Johannes living in Osthofen 1724 - Daniel living in Wachenheim. "Daniel Finger has rented a badly working mill from Kolb. Most of the time, it is lacking sufficient water." 1738 - Daniel living in Wachenheim. 1738 - Johannes living in Walsheim. 1743 - Johannes living in Wachenheim with 1 woman & 1 son. 1753 - Johannes living in Wachenheim. "Johannes Finger, hereditary tenant for Count Wartenberg on the independent noble mill which he took over from his father in 1742, wife, 1 son, and 3 daughters. 5 persons. 1759 - Johannes living in Wachenheim with wife and daughter.
