I'm searching for any info on the family of my ggrandmother Leila FINGER (b abt 1880? Lincoln Co., NC d 1973). The only thing I know about Leila's parents is that her family owned a large family in Lincoln Co., NC and her mother's maiden name was ASBURY. Leila FINGER married Rev. Clarence Richardson CANIPE of Cleveland Co., NC on 23 Dec 1908 and they had 4 children. After Clarence's unexpected death in 1919, Leila moved her young children to the FINGER family farm in Lincoln Co., NC and never remarried. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
