Co. Monaghan & Brooklyn & Colorado
Posted by: Jean Mattox (ID *****4074) Date: March 26, 2007 at 17:10:23

My Irish roots are in Co. Monaghan (Carrickmacross, mostly) I've looked, in vain, for my grandfather's brother, James, in Brooklyn - he was there in 1900. Wife Josephine from NJ, children, Jenise, James, Annie. Marriage about 1894.
They're listed in City Directories during that time period but disappear after that. Brothers John (my g.father) & Michael lived & died in Colorado - Leadville.
My interest is in locating descendents of Jenise, James, & Annie. They were the only children in this country other than myself.
